Important instructions for nail care
The evening before your nail salon appointment, please don`t use hand cream, nail oil or take a hand bath. That could affect the stability!!!
1. To have consistently beautiful nails, you have to visit your nail technician regularly!
Plan to see your nail technican about every:
• 1-2 weeks - when you have a UV nail polish only (soak-off gel)
• 2-3 weeks - infill treatment (fill up cuticle area only)
• 3-4 weeks - for a complete new full set
2. If you break a nail or if a nail begins to lift, schedule a repair appointment.
Please, don`t fix your nails yourself!
3. Treat your nails like jewels!
Don`t use them as tools. Wear gloves when you do hard work, or use strong chemicals to protect your nails. (scratches, remove layer, get matt-finish)
4. Find the right fit and length for you.
Your nail technician will recommend an application and a nail length that best suits you and your lifestyle.
For example, if you are especially hard on your nails, because you work on a computer or do heavy work, shorter nails may be the best for you.
5. Keep your cuticles soft.
The best is to use cuticle oil or hand cream every day.
6. Some clients will discover that they are allergic to an ingredient in some nail products.
An allergic reaction is characterised by redness, itching, swelling, or irritation around the nail or around the eyes and mouth . If you notice any of these symptoms, call your nail technician.
She will help you determine what ingredients you’re having a reaction to and will take steps to help you avoid them. If necessary, she can help refer you to a dermatologist.
Do not ignore a condition that develops around the nail.
7. Please, do never take off your artificial nails by yourself.
Although it may seem the simplest way to do it, pulling the nails off can damage your natural nail and make regrowth a long and painful process.
Artificial nails can be safely removed if done correctly by your nail technician.
